Religious School Educator (part time) – Grades 3-7

Salary Range: 18.00 – 24.00 commensurate with experience

Part Time – 1-5 hrs weekly, Wednesday After School and 1-3 Weekends/month

We are seeking, energetic, creative teachers to lead young Jewish students and their families in spiritual learning. This includes learning through stories, music, movement and art. This position will work with children in the Grade 3 through Grade 7 age bracket.

The ideal candidate will be:

• An effective collaborator with all stakeholders, including rabbi, program director, and parents/guardians;

• Able to maintain an educational environment that is fair, equitable, and positive for all students up to grade 2;

• Able to read basic Hebrew (decoding);

• Confident in teaching experientially, using music, hands-on materials, and movement

• Able to embed key concepts into learning activities;

• An effective communicator, both written and verbal;

• Reliable and punctual, with dependable transportation;

• Knowledge of spoken/written Hebrew is a plus.
